Drowning

Whispers in the dark, sinking deep below

Lost in the tide, where no one seems to go

Lights fade away, shadows in my mind

Calling out for help, but silence is all I find

Waves crashing over, I'm trying to stay afloat

A silent scream inside, stories nobody knows

Every breath a struggle, caught in this endless night

Hoping for a dawn, praying for a light

But the water's cold, and I can't break free

Drowning in my thoughts, longing to be free

If tears could save me, I’d cry them all away

But the silence lingers, stealing my day

I'm drowning in an ocean of pain

Lost in the waves, calling your name in vain

Can somebody see? Can somebody hear?

I'm fighting for breath, fighting my fear

Hold on to hope, though it feels so far

Shattered dreams on the shore, like a broken star

Even in darkness, a flicker of a spark

Guides my way back through the night, through the dark

I'm drowning in an ocean of pain

I'm fighting for breath, fighting my fear

If I disappear beneath these waves
