Silent shadows, whisper cold

Lost within the night we're told

Echoes of a broken heart

Fading light, falling apart

Caught between the dark and dawn

Trying to hold on, feeling gone

Every word, aching, strained

In this room, so stained, so painless

Can you hear the cry beneath?

Voices scream inside of me

Fading fast, can’t pretend

Losing myself in the night

Broken dreams, out of sight

Moody skies, rain and fire

Burning veins, lost in desire
