Cancel culture, empathy turned weaponized, huh?

It’s all about critical thinking, ya feel?

They call it empathy, but it’s a mask, a game

Disguised to take you for a ride, emotions to blame

Convince you that someone cares, but it’s all the same

Weaponized feelings, driving us insane

Weaponized politics, playing its game

They label you a racist, or a Karen and shit

If your opinion differs, they deem you a dick

But sympathy’s simple, I can’t know your pain

But I can feel for you, that’s how it should all be explained to you

Costs nothing to be kind, to understand, to connect

But they demand empathy, reject the respect

Disguised as caring, but it’s just a rabbed critique

No genuine connection, just their words they seek

If we replaced cancel culture with critical thinking, people could heal

Empathy’s weaponized, that’s the real deal

Sympathy’s genuine, real from the heart

Truth be told, that’s how we should all start

So I’m not buying all these fake ass feelings that you push

Real compassion’s cheap, real people keep it real, they’re the gold and thats the deal

Disarm these masks, break the cycle, unfold all

It’s about real talk, not just what’s sold

Keep it straightforward, no mask, no spin

Empathy’s real, but it comes from within

Let’s reset the game, make the real winning deal
