Rain falling down, echoing sound

Pain in my heart, can't escape now

Train in the distance, a long lonely sound

Carrying my hopes, lost and unbound

Streets are drenched with memories, shadows in the night

Every drop a story told, a silent fight

Walking down this lonely line, under cloudy skies

Thinking 'bout the love we lost, tears in my eyes

But I gotta keep moving, no end in sight

The rain’s a reminder, of the endless fight

Pain lingers on, like a midnight train

Moving through my veins, in the pouring rain

Rain, pain, train, blowing through my veins

Riding all my sorrows, through the smoky plains

Rain, pain, train, carrying all my pain

Moving through the night, in the pouring rain

Thunder echoes my sorrow, lightning strikes my fear

But I’ll keep riding this train, till the end is near

Wheels keep turning, past the pain and rain

Seeking someday sunshine, beyond the windowpane

When the rain subsides, and the pain wears thin

Maybe I’ll find my way, start again
