I am the Boy who loves the woods, I am the boy who playin in the mud, I am the boy who loves the water. I wonder how the deer and fish wander. I hear the birds in the trees above, playin In the leaves just for fun. I see the wind blow through the grass, it can be so mean. I want a nice buck to walk out, into fields of green. I want a largemouth bass to jump onto my line, it’s just that time. Cuz I’m the boy who loves the woods, I am the boy who is kicken up mud. I am the boy who’s having fun. I am the boy who loves the water.
I pretend it’s not Cold when the wind blows, but I feel it bite my nose. I try to touch the wind but it just has to go, I worry the fish won’t bite my line, when it’s my time. I cry the deer won’t show themselves, like it’s a crime. Cuz I’m the boy who loves the woods, Cuz I’m the boy who loves playin in the mud, cuz I’m the boy who’s having fun because it’s all I do.
I understand the woods are a mystery to uncover. But sometimes It reminds me, of my mother. I never said it was gonna be easy, but I want it to be. I just want to dream of that far off place but it, just makes me feel out of place. I just want to dream, of a place, with a shinny lake, but it just seems so fake. I try to touch the lakeside water but it’s just seems not right. I hope there isn’t a single person, in my sight cuz I don’t want to see a face. I just want to be alone with my fate, cuz I am the boy who loves the woods, cuz I’m the boy who loves playing in mud, cuz I’m the boy who’s having fun, because that’s all I do.
