As time goes by she realizes she had deep feelings and knew that their time will come to an end if nothing is changed from one of them.

And ultimatum was made, it would have came either way. She didn’t fear anything because he said he loved her, and that was enough. But to her surprise it wasn’t that way, he rather have a life with drugs than for her to stay.

Oh, I have given everything. My heart, my soul, my life. I changed who I am so I can be his ride or die. He wanted a team, he wanted it to be the world versus him and me. But when the time came for me to ask the same, he turned his back to flee far away from me, as I tried to plea that a life without you was something I didn’t want to see.

He said he didn’t want to hurt her. His solution was leave her. He didn’t even want to try to compromise, and said this is what’s best for her. Of course it was easier to say goodbye than to fight for her.
