Trouble on the Road

Rolling down the highway in my old truck

Sunset fades, but I keep my luck

Sipping on whiskey, thoughts run deep

Troubles in my mind, they won't let me sleep

Got a problem weighing on my chest

Try to find answers, but I'm not blessed

Every mile I drive, trying to forget

But the ghost of trouble's got me in its net

Need to find a way, need to find a fix

Look for the sunlight through the shadows and the tricks

Whiskey's my friend, but it's not enough

Sometimes life's too tough to smooth the rough

Gotta fix this problem deep inside

Find a clearer road, a place to hide

Truck keeps rolling, spirits high

Sipping whiskey as the night goes by

Maybe tomorrow's gonna be alright

Leave these worries in the moonlight

With every sip, I start to see

The way to set my troubles free

Drive my truck into the dawn

Troubles fade as night is gone

Sipping whiskey, finding peace
