Between the walls

I was talking to the ceiling

while the floor was breathing back

Shadows crawling up the wallpaper

Time dissolves into the cracks

I forgot the sound of silence

when the night began to bend

Every thought was slowly melting

where the edges never end

I don’t know if I’m awake now

or I’m fading in a dream

All the walls are softly humming

nothing’s ever what it seems
