Old streets whisper stories from a time I can't forget

Screens and shadows, in this house, I try to reset

Memories flicker like a faded magazine

Pages of a past where I once felt clean

Scrolling through the shadows, lost in the glow

Trying to keep the spirits out, let 'em go

Street lamps flicker as I walk back home

Dimes in my pocket, never alone

The payphone ringing, voices from the past

Calling out, leave the old friends in that harass

Keep a clean house, keep the darkness away

Cleansing the evil, wash the fear away

Karmic entities, they don’t belong here

God, I need your help, make it all clear

Old magazine pages, like echoes that scream

Real light’s slipping, like a fractured dream

Eyes once bright now seen through a screen

Lost in the darkness, where have I been
