Walking through the shadows, silent and mean

Stumbled on a shadow, caught in between

A rogue chair leg, a jagged stone

My toe screams loud, bleeding and blown

Pain erupts, fiery and raw

Can't take this anymore, what the hell is the law?

Stubbing my toe in the chaos of the night

Fury rising high, screams taking flight

Bash and crash, ruin and despair

This toe's nightmare, tearing through the air

Sneaking down the hallway, eyes on my prize

Trap of broken glass, metaphorical lies

A snare of nails, a trap so grim

This is my curse, the pain within

Clenching teeth, screams aloud

Mirrors shatter, echoes of my shroud
