Echoes of Strength

I'm stuck in this grid, pressure rising,

The echoes in my mind, they don't stop surprising,

Turn the wheel, but I can’t break free,

This city’s got a hold, it's suffocating me.

Traffic lights flash, red, green, to yellow,

Boxed in tight, not feeling like a hero,

Every horn’s a memory, every stall a fight,

Living through the echoes, trying to find the light.

But I’m stronger now, no longer in the dark,

From victim to survivor, igniting my spark,

With every mile I drive, I reclaim my peace,

This healing journey leads me to release.

So here I am, driving through the storm,

In crowded places, I am reborn,

Triggered moments are just storms I brave,

In the face of shadows, I refuse to cave.

Support team beside me, I won’t stand alone,

With every step forward, I’m finding my home,

The honks and the chaos can't shatter my soul,

I’m weaving through fear, regaining control.

Doordashing freedom, a job with a heart,

Each delivery a chapter, a place to restart,

This hustle is healing, each order I take,

Reclaiming my life, for my own sake.

Those memories linger, they come and they go,

But I’m learning to dance with the ebb and flow,

It’s a fragile journey, but I hold my ground,

With every mile I conquer, new strength I’ve found.

So here I am, driving through the storm,
