Forever?

We built castles on promises now the tides has washed them all. I saw the cracks in that smile and was blind to see the truth. I will always remember the time we spent.. “I thought we were forever” we were a storm we invited, but now I am picking up the pieces you left behind you painted a picture of loyalty, a masterpiece of lies. We built a world on pretending, ow the walls are closing in “I thought we were forever” it’s hard to let go of the echoes of your words I hope this isn’t a good bye forever I am trying to walk away from the wreckage, towards the light. And I will find my own way now without you by my side. Hope you know that I wanted it to be forever. I wish you never left me for someone else but you did.. I will always have broken bridges I am still trying to repair. You would always be a false friend to me. I will never go back to you but you will always be in my heart forever
