Shadows stretch like broken clocks

Tick-tock tick-tock

They never stop

Windows blink

Their eyes aglow

Do they see me? I don’t know

I hear it crawl

Echoes hum

They love to mock

The mirror cracks

Its jagged grin plays the same old game

This house
