I never left this one horse town

They finally put that last horse down

guess there’s not much left for me

Married young she ran around

We all know why I let her down

stuck here now, not sure what to be

Same old story, same excuses

Wake up drunk and feelin useless

Nowhere to be no one to see

That damn horse left without me

I'm still here, drinkin beer

Movin way too slow

Some new faces that just don't know

I sold that saddle for way too low
