Rising from the Shadows

Whispered shadows, echo in my mind

Walking through the fire, trying to find

The strength that’s been buried deep inside

Waiting for a dawn that I never denied

Faded scars I hide beneath the surface

Silent screams, broken lines of purpose

Walking shells through midnight’s cold embrace

Seeking out the light to heal this place

Every step I take, I fight the ghost

Learning how to breathe, learning what I needed most

But I am not alone, this voice inside

Will rise above the shame, the fear, the lies

I am survivor, I am reborn

Breaking through the storm, I carry on

Shattering the chains that kept me down

Rising from the ash, I wear my crown

Healing is a journey, slow and steady

Strength in every tear, in every confetti

Of hope and courage, finding my way

Today I choose to see a brighter day

Whispered shadows, now just a clue

I’ve found my voice, I’ve broken through

From the depths, I’ve learned to soar

And I will rise forevermore
