Grew up with boys

I’m a girl who grew up with boys,

Raised In the south,

had to learn to defend myself , hold my ground

You couldn’t give up now you had keep going

Rather you like it or not

The games they played were rough, but they taught me resilience and quick thinking.

Couldn’t be weak had to be strong

Couldn’t even be scared you had be brave I learned to speak my mind and stand tall.

Growing up with boys and being a girl ,

sometimes felt isolating, but it also made me realize that their just protecting me

pushing me to be my best Yee
