Bright lights, shiny things, workin' through my day

Serenading my loneliness with a buff, a wash, a spray

Detailing cars from dawn till dusk, in the mirror, my reflection's dust

Buffing out the flaws and cracks, hide the worries I can't track

Scrubbing carpets 'til my hands are numb, chasing dreams I can't outrun

Living in this auto shop, my life’s a grind, never stop

Got my chrome and tire shine, shining just for me

Gotta hustle, gotta grind, to set my spirit free

Watch the paint gleam in the light, it’s a work of art

Every scratch I correct, healing my broken heart

Making the brighter with my tire shine

Master of my craft, this is my prime

Polishing my life away, but I’m feeling fine

Just a man with a rag and a dream in mind

Wishing I was home but I know I gotta grind
