Moving on

Walking down this empty road, shadows fade behind,

Every step I take tomorrow's hopes align.

All my past echoes in the wind, whispers I can't hold,

Broken dreams like scattered leaves, stories I told.

Now I fade into the dawn, a blank new page,

Seeking freedom's gentle song, beyond this cage.

Leaving yesterday in the rearview, letting go,

There's a fire inside, I need to know where to go.

I'm moving on, leaving it all behind,

A new horizon, peace I finally find.

Starting over, shedding every fear,

Here I am, free from the tears.

No more shadows, no chains to bind,

This is my moment, a fresh design.

Turning chapters in the sands of time,

A future whispered, yours and mine.

Walking into the sunrise's glow, a brand new start,
