The jungle whispers in my ear tonight

A broken soul caught in the fight

Jason lost where shadows creep

Dreams of fire haunt his sleep

Lost in shadows can’t break free

The man is drowning in misery

His name’s a ghost on the island breeze

Chained by darkness on bended knees

Tattooed fate on his trembling arm

A hero shaped but drenched in harm

The roar of rage the silent cries

Jason lives where freedom dies

Knife in hand yet heart undone

A war he did not wish to run

Friend or foe masks deceive
