Sunrise coming up on Lake Eleven
Fog rolling soft across the water
Poontune rocking by the dock
Kids already asking if we’re going swimming later
Dog barking out in the yard
Black Ram truck warming in the drive
Coffee steaming in my hand
Another hard earned day alive
Grand Junction raised me tough
Small town roads and gravel dust
Black Ram truck with the trailer hooked
Rolling through town earning trust
Started with a mower and a dream
Now the phones ring nonstop
Cemetery gates swinging open
Before most people even wake up
Bloomingdale colors on the gym walls
Kids running hard under the lights
Cheering loud up in the bleachers
Proud watching them chase their life
Church on Sunday mornings
Bloomingdale Christian filling the room
Prayers for the families hurting
Prayers of thanks for life too
Yeah this life moves fast
But I wouldn’t trade it for nothing
Because this is home
This is family
This is Friday night lights and lake side memories
Bush Light cold in the cooler
Bare feet covered in sand
Poontune floating at the sandbar
Everything I dreamed of in my hand
Lake water shining in the sunset
Country music drifting through the air
Kids jumping off the back laughing
Summer nights without a care
Chris and Anthony acting gaaaayyyyy out on the Poontune again
Shotgunning Bush Lights while they dance to Morgan Wallen
Whole sandbar laughing while the music shakes the lake
Just another summer night making memories we won’t replace
Black Ram truck backed down by the water
Dock lights glowing blue at night
Bonfire burning by the shoreline
Stars reflecting in the sky
This is Briana riding shotgun
Holding everything together
This is building something real
That’s gonna last forever
From mowing stripes in the summer heat
To opening graves in the cold
Serving Bloomingdale Township
And Columbia down the road
Trying to do right by people
Even when nobody sees it
Because respect still matters here
And hard work still means something
Long days turning into late nights
Washing mowers under the lights
Grease covered hands and tired eyes
Still waking up before sunrise
But every sacrifice feels worth it
When the work day finally ends
Lake breeze blowing through the evening
Surrounded by family and friends
This town raised me
Now I’m raising my kids here
Under gym lights
At church pews
On tractor seats
At baseball fields
On cemetery hills
And summer lake nights
This is our life
And when the sun drops low over Michigan
And the waves roll against the dock
I look around at everything we built
And thank God for every second of it.
