PERMACULTURE

- Our school is engaged in a greening programme since 2003 to date. It's situated in a semi urban area where water is used everyday. For us to implement the programme we conducted a research.

- The research was about the mindset of people towards greening for beauty and food security. water is the pillar of life and all systems are connected.

- That is why our school uses permaculture method to address the mindset of people of life and permaculture can prove that soil life by encouraging the systems to work together.

-Permaculture can act as a waste management by recycling energy to act as a water wise or a friend to water act. It reduces global climate change by improving the landcare through practising companion planting.

-we use technology to manipulate our survival and use science to name knowledge about the systems of life.

- As a school we practice the 5Rs, refuse Reduce, reuse, recycle and repurpose.
