The clock struck twelve the year stood still

A heavy wind broke my will

I stumbled hard I hit the ground

But roots grow deep when storms come 'round

Like the sun after the rain

You can't break what bends

A fractured truth a fierce goodbye

I built a bridge from tears I shed

Each step I take leaves fear for dead

The fire burned it lit my veins

Mountains tried to block my view
