Voices in my head

Are we just killing time

I’ll ask the voices in my head

I think they are telling me

To stay away from my bed

I’ve tried to shut the door

they just keep coming back

I can’t stop them anymore

Too many voices to track

Stranger things have happened

My thoughts frighten me

Always keeping me up at night

As I sweat and hold my head in fright

None of it really matters now

It doesn’t change who I am

No need to interfere
