Title: The Devil Came Back to Georgia (Part II)
Intro (spoken, slow and steady):
You’d think the Devil’d learn his lesson, but evil don’t forget.
He lost once down in Georgia — now he’s got one more regret…
---
Verse 1:
The Devil came back to Georgia with a fire in his soul,
He wanted his golden fiddle back, to make his story whole.
He came for vengeance, cold and mean, with evil all around,
Trained for what felt like a thousand years — he swore he’d take Johnny down.
---
Verse 2:
He found Johnny older now, a teacher calm and wise,
With silver in his hairline and fire in his eyes.
He taught the young to play with soul, their hearts in every note,
And when he heard the Devil speak, a grin showed upon his face.
The Devil sneered, “Let’s play again — I’m better than before.”
Johnny smirked and sipped his tea, then said, “You sure? You ready to try and even the score?”
---
Verse 3:
The Devil stepped into the ring, his fiddle forged in flame,
He played a tune so fierce and dark, the sky cried out his name.
With demons howlin’ in the wind and thunder shakin' trees,
They danced and screamed in wicked glee, as flames rode on the breeze.
He played so hard, he stomped the ground, and dropped down to his knees—
Convinced this time he’d sealed the deal and brought Johnny to defeat.
---
Verse 4:
Then Johnny stood, his fiddle raised, and silence filled the air,
He played a song of heaven’s light with strength beyond compare.
The angels sang, the devils fled, his bow moved fast and clean,
Each note cut through that firestorm like nothing they had seen.
His sound was truth and courage strong, no darkness stood a chance—
He left the Devil in the dust with just one final glance.
---
Bridge (spoken, over rising music):
Johnny said, “I don’t stand alone — my faith is tried and true,
And when I play with all my heart, the angels see me through.”
Then heaven’s light came pouring down, the clouds began to part,
A thousand wings behind his bow, and fire within his heart.
---
Outro (sung):
So if you hear a fiddle cry beneath the Georgia moon,
Remember who still owns that stage and plays the Devil’s tune.
He beat him once, he beat him twice,
