Tunnel of Shadows

Distant droplets echo in the gloom,

Muffled secrets whisper in the soil,

Darkness breathes in humid room,

A labyrinth beneath the toil.

Rumbles stir the earth's deep sleep,

Creeping shadows, secrets keep,

Silent fears in buried chains.

Stressed air thick with unseen dread,

Every breath a strained consent,

In these tunnels underground.

Deep within the dirt and stone,

A pulse of chaos, dark and lone,

Drop into the underground,

Where shadows forever drown.
