They say it’s normal, say it’s fine,

say I’m crazy for reading the signs

Truth on screen, front of your eyes,

but you hit snooze, scroll, and go back to your life

What used to be rumors is breaking the frame,

headlines confirm it, but nobody’s changed

Trafficking stories, a day in the feed,

then buried by memes and celebrity beef

Borders collapsing, systems stressed,

leaders talk circles, avoid the mess

Money gets weaker, prices inflate,

they call it a cycle, I call it a play

Power cuts flicker, panic then jokes,

until it’s your block and nobody shows

Floods wash lives out, helpers get sent,

home for “protocol”, compassion on rent

‘cause comfort’s a drug and it’s hard to stay brave

Is it numbness or self-defense?

Is ignorance peace or expensive sense?

‘Cause saying “stop” means skin in the game,

and most people fear what they can’t disclaim

You don’t wanna hear it.

They didn’t wanna live it.

Respect isn’t silence,

it’s listening when it’s inconvenient.

When did “don’t rock it” become the rule?

When did routine replace what’s true?

You set your alarm for another shift,

while history’s moving and nobody resists

The top of the pyramid stays unseen,

but the weight always crushes the ones beneath

I still hope someone up there’s clean,

‘cause if not, this ends the way it’s always been

A world that knows and still looks away,

doesn’t lose control – it trades its spine away
