Empty nights, echoing halls

Runnin' back through the memories

Can't escape the silent calls

Started off in steady time, weekly laughs and rhymes

Then it faded, slipped away, bi-weekly at best on some days

Now she's gone, the space so wide, once a month, I try to hide

Pain runs cold, it chills my soul, feels like I'm lost in control
