Trying to Sleep

Waking because it’s hard to sleep.

I can be strong but it’s hard to keep.

I know you’re there, I know You care.

But where, but where do I go from here?

He’s always there, hearing every prayer. Opening His arms saying “I know, I’m here.

I know where you’ll go if only you’ll show …

Moving from His presence I feel alone.

Thinking I’m ok but not listening to what You say.

Fighting the feeling, not trusting Your word.

I ask for your help and you’re there.

I cry for Your help and You’re there!

ok- ok, I know You’re here and you actually care. I’m weak, I’m not strong I can’t do it on my own. Your Spirit is in me I can’t deny,

but giving You control is….

giving You control is….. Devine!

With Your Spirit within me I want to grow.

I must tell everyone it’s not just a show.

To reflect the love and care you give….
