Sacrifice to the Gods

Awakened from shadows deep, the gods arise

Echoes of the past, trembling skies

Silent whispers in the dark, they call

Majestic beings, standing tall

Stars align, a ritual begins

A choice, a price that must be paid within

Beneath the moon's cold gaze, we stand

Offering our hopes, our dreams, our land

To tame the fury, to soothe the divine

In sacrifice, our fates entwine

Choose what to give, to satisfy their wrath

A sacred burden, upon our trembling path

Hear their cry, feel the fire’s glow

In this sacrifice, our spirits flow

Mirror of despair, reflection of our pain

Binding us in silence, what remains?

A gift or a curse, the gods decide

In the ashes of hope, they confide

As dawn breaks the night, their hunger fades

Left with scars, in the myth we’ve made

Lessons in surrender, in the divine’s wake

A sacrifice paid, for peace’s sake
