I lay still and composed

Surgeon’s hands, their touches so close

Clad in white, with hope they pose

Facing fears, where courage grows

Their goal to save, to heal, to mend

In every stitch, a message they send

Bound by faith, they defend

Love’s real power, they extend

Finding God, in every act of care

Forgiveness blooms, nature’s prayer

Happiness in giving, everywhere

Helping others, burdens to share

Through blood, sweat, tears I saw

The pain of life, the broken law

Yet in their work, a sacred draw

A reminder of what I saw

Their focus to bring life back from despair

In every touch, a prayer, a prayer

In their hands, love declares

That mercy’s always there

Finding God, in every act of care

Forgiveness blooms, nature’s prayer

The second chance, the sacred space
