Before the stars began to shine,
Before the earth was by design,
He knew the depths of time and space,
And saw the world in His embrace.
No whisper fades beyond His ear,
No hidden thought remains unclear.
The past, now, and the days ahead,
Are known before a word is said.
He knows the sparrow’s silent flight,
The course of winds, the birth of light,
Each tear that falls, each heart that breaks,
Each prayer a weary soul still makes.
Beyond the veil where shadows hide,
His wisdom stands, His hands still guide,
No scheme of man, no veil of night,
Can cloud His ever-seeing sight.
So rest, O heart, in perfect peace,
For He who knows shall never cease,
To lead, to love, to hold you near—
The One who knows, the One who's here
