Here I Go Again

Here we go again, on the road that never ends

Chasing after dreams that time won't suspend

Each step a chapter, each mile a new start

Finding who I am deep in my heart

Lost in memories, trying to find my way

Cooking up hope amidst the gray

Rebuilding dreams, one recipe at a time

Trying to get my rhythm back in rhyme

Not sure where this road will lead

But I’ve got all I need, my courage and my plea

To be heard, to be seen, to find my peace

On this journey, I seek release

Here I go again, on the road once more

Searching for a meaning, for what I’m living for

Trying to mend the pieces, heal the scars within

With every step I take, I start to begin

In the kitchen of my soul, fueling the flame

It’s okay to stumble, okay to fall
