Sittin in this cage I built myself,

Lookin outside, watchin no-one else.

You came to me a bloom, that covered out the gloom.

My heart fell, both ways, when you entered the room.

There's not a place for me to rest,

I had given up on doin my best.

For every mountain seeked, each lonely peaks.

That's the destiny for me I guess.

Didnt expect any more and nothing less.

I marched right on with a grittin teeth,

That's when I met you on a hill beneath.

Your charming smile with those rosy cheeks.

Didn't want to leave the hill,

Could've gone anywhere to find a thrill.

It wasn't the climb or how high I went.

It was just you, the one I had met.

Like all unique work of art,

The day had come for us to part.

Much was shared but it wasn't enough,
