Shepherd's Rest

Whispering winds, gentle and slow,

Guiding my path where I go.

In the quiet, I find my peace,

A shepherd's love, a sweet release.

Walking through valleys low, shadows fall,

His gentle hand, it guides me through all.

Restoring strength when I am weak,

His tender voice, the words I seek.

In green pastures, I lie down,

By still waters, calm and sound.

His love renews my soul,

In Him, I am made whole.

The LORD, my shepherd, leads me home,

No want shall stand where He has shown.

Beside the waters pure and clear,

His presence always near.

When storms arise and fears appear,

His rod and staff, they quell my fear.

Peace like a river, flowing deep,

In His promises, I keep.

Forever in His care, I’ll stay,

Trusting Him to light my way.

My soul restored, my heart made whole,

Forever under His control.
