Now Kentucky might be shy, and the Appalachians might be dry, but Kentucky is where I call home. The mountains and the hills, the Good Lord and the Trinity, all speak to me….. tells me Jesus loves me, and He set me free…. But I choose to live here with Thee.
Now big cities and lights, are nice to see at night, and fancy cars I see, with people who ain’t got it right… reminds me of how I miss home… I’ll take the fireflies at night, and the 1980 ford bought out right, and feel at home every time.

Now folks can say what they want to, but church at Leerose on Sunday morning, can’t be beat. I’ll take the time to praise Him every time, and I’ll rest on the Lord’s day right here in the pines, cause I choose to live here with Thee.
