Strength in the Temptation

Whispers in the night, a whisper in my soul

Calling out Your name, trying to make me whole

Temptations like shadows lurking near

Fighting all my fears, trying to disappear

But I remember Your love, shining bright as day

Guiding me through, You’re never far away

Hold on, keep strong, I need Your might

Help me stand, in Your grace I find light

When the world pulls hard, to turn me away

Lift me up, Lord, make me stay

Jesus, I want You, more than words can say

Help me persevere through the hardest days

Give me strength to see You when it’s hard to stand

Hold my trembling heart, put me in Your hand

In the midst of the storm, I lift my eyes

Hope and mercy, in Your love I rise

Temptations come, but I will not stray

With You, I’ll walk, into the breaking day

Jesus, I want You, forever I will stay

Guided by Your grace, through temptations’ sway

Forever in Your love, I’ll forever pray
