Pressure make diamonds

Man, life ain't easy, but pressure? Pressure makes diamonds. You either break or shine.

I came up from the bottom, now the sky ain't got a limit, took the pain, flipped the script, now every move is vivid. Had to hustle through the dark, when the light ain't show a glimpse, kept my faith in every step, even when my legs was limp. They ain't see the nights I starved, just the days I made it out, they ain't hear the cries I swallowed, just the way I’m talkin' now. They ain’t count the hours worked, just the money in my hands, but they never felt the pressure when my world was built on sand.

Pressure built diamonds, yeah, I had to shine, turned my losses into lessons, now the world is mine. Every tear, every fight, every long, cold night, made me who I am, I ain’t fold, I just rise.

Told ‘em I ain't stoppin’, every move I make is real, I don't flex for validation, I just count up what I build. Kept my circle tight, too many switch up when they feel, that your wins remind ‘em of the dreams they let be killed. Now they lookin’ at the glow, like I found a magic key, but it’s just the ones who struggle that be holdin’ all the heat.

Every scar tells a story, every fight got a cost, but I never lost faith, even when I took a loss. Yeah, they doubted, yeah, they laughed, yeah, they turned the other way, now I’m standin’ at the top, what the hell they gotta say?

Now I pull up like I knew this, never second-guessed the grind, kept my name up out the rumors, just my pockets and my time. Never beg, never plead, took my stripes and now I lead, made a lane, took the wheel, now my people gotta eat. If you feelin’ like you drownin’, if the weight is gettin’ strong, let me tell you, pressure builds, but it makes you stand tall. Ain’t no gold without the fire, ain’t no king without the pain, so remember when they doubt you, that's just fuel up in your veins.
