The Enemy

Its been a while since loneliness came knocking at my door

Since I wondered what im even fighting for

I need to be alone right now

To hide somewhere I can't be found

My time of loneliness, id forgotten like a bad dream

It returns to my front door. Its declaring war.

This is an enemy I can't defeat

My armor cracks, the enemy attacks

Counter, parry, attack

Until its beaten back

Evade, dodge, retreat

Until I cant go on
