Let me know what your poison is

I’ll make yours after I make mine

Sipping it slowly letting it consume me

When I die just know there was no saving me anyway

If I die first it will be by my own hand

If I die first I’ll cut off all my loose ends and leave nothing behind

I’ll know that I lived a good life when my mind is clear and there’s nothing left to say

I’ve been dealing with these demons all my life

I’m letting the darkness win this time

I don’t want to fight this war anymore

It’s all said and done and I’ll be my own judge in the afterlife
