Solid Ground

Lost in shadows, seeking light,

Feeling broken, through the night.

But I hear a gentle call,

Love that lifts and heals us all.

Once I wandered, astray and blind,

Caught in chains I couldn't find.

Then I saw a sacrifice,

A love so deep, so pure, so wise.

He’s the ground that roots my hope,

Guides my faith, helps me cope.

His hands reach out, forever near,

Wiping away each doubt and fear.

Jesus, my solid ground,

In Your grace, I’ve found.

Born anew, my sins forgiven,

In Your love, I’m risen.

Gift of free will, to choose each day,

To follow Your divine way.

Sacrifice so love could save,

A path to heaven, a resurrected brave.

He’s the light that softly shines,

Guiding me through troubled times.

Forever in His warm embrace,

Resting in His eternal grace.

Jesus, my solid ground,

In Your grace, I’ve found.

Born anew, my sins forgiven,

In Your love, I’m risen.

No more pits of despair,

Your hand lifts, showing care.

Wrapped in love, so divine,

Heaven’s streets now call me home.

Love that first loved us, before time,

Now and forever in Your climb.

Faith and hope, in You I trust,
