A Letter to my God

Dear God I’m writing this today

My heart’s been heavy I’ve lost my way

The skies feel dim the nights are long

But I know with You I can stay strong

Your whispers echo through the breeze

A quiet calm puts my soul at ease

When storms rage wild and shadows fall

I feel You catch me through it all

This is my letter my open plea

A melody for You who sets me free

When the world feels dark and I can’t see

I trust Your light will guide me

I see Your hand in the morning dew

The colors blend in a canvas new

Each step I take though frail and small

You walk beside me through it all

I’m not perfect I’ve made my mistakes

But I know Your love never breaks

This letter’s written with hope and fire

To lift me higher and inspire
