Blinded

Blinded by the lights, shadows in my mind

Night after sleepless night, searching for a sign

Walking through this storm, I carry all the pain

Fighting every fight, trying to find my way again

Looking for that one, the only thing that's true

Hoping she’s the answer, but I don’t have a clue

Pretending I’m okay, but inside I’m falling apart

Caught in the echoes of an unspoken broken heart

Trapped in the darkness, sharing fears with my demons

Lost in the shadows, where hope barely gleams

Won’t believe I’m stuck here, barely holding on

Fear of losing feelings, ‘til my last dawn

Memories replay, tears falling like rain

She left behind a scar, whispering my pain

I see her in my dreams, her face I cannot find

Searching with my soul, praying for some sign
