Fadeing in blue

The sun still shines, but I don’t feel the light

Coffee’s cold, another sleepless night

People talk, but I just drift away

Drowning in thoughts I can’t escape

It’s hard to breathe when every dream

Just turns to smoke and memory

I fake a smile, they never see

The weight that’s slowly killing me

I’m fading in blue, losing the fight

Screaming inside, but quiet tonight

The mirror just stares, like it knows the truth

I’m slipping away, and no one knew

There’s music playing in another room

But silence always fills my mood

I trace the cracks along my wall

Counting the ways I’ve learned to fall

I tell myself it’s just a phase

But the rain’s been here for days

And every word I try to say

Just echoes out, then fades away
