Once upon a time, in a big jungle, a mighty lion was taking a nap under a tree. While he slept, a tiny mouse ran over his paw, waking him up.
"Who dares to disturb me?" roared the lion, grabbing the mouse with his huge paw.
"I'm so sorry, King Lion," squeaked the mouse. "Please let me go! Maybe someday I can help you in return."
The lion laughed. "You? Help me? You're too small!" But he was in a good mood, so he let the mouse go.
A few days later, the lion was caught in a hunter’s net. He roared and struggled, but he couldn’t break free.
Hearing the lion's cries, the little mouse came running. With her sharp teeth, she chewed through the ropes and freed the lion.
"You were right," said the lion. "Even a little friend can be a big help."
Moral of the Story: No one is too small to make a big difference. Be kind—you never know when kindness will come back to you.
