Shadows of Grace

In the shadows, I dance with my darkness,

Caught between saints and sins in my starkness.

A whisper in my mind, a duality,

Fighting for my soul and my morality.

I wear a mask, beauty and despair,

Touching hearts, hiding my prayer.

Taking pieces, leaving dark echoes,

In the dance of the souls I sew.

Evil and good, intertwined,

A love for the shadows, a love divine.

Caught in this paradox, I stride,

Searching for grace, nowhere to hide.

Oh, I am both, the darkness and light,

Walking this line, day and night.

Loving myself, flawed yet divine,

Seeking heaven, I know I'm fine.

Demons whisper, angels sigh,

Balance on the edge, wondering why.

For every soul I take, a prayer I send,

Hoping someday, I’ll mend.
