My Anxiety

I can't breathe, I'm starting to panic
Every thought becoming manic 
The Weight I carry is crushing me 
Killing who I used to be 

My anxiety is killing me 
It won't let go

My broken pieces are starting to break 
With every single breath I take 
I reach out, trying to grasp 
But nothing is there except the air I gasp 
And even the air is dissipitating 
I think that I am suffocating

I can't break away 
It won't set me Free 

A sinking feeling like drowning on land 
Or being pushed down while trying to stand 
And every time, the darkness kicks in 
Before the light can even begin
