I stood by you through every storm,

Gave my heart, tried to keep us warm.

But every time I reached for peace,

You tore it down, made the pain increase.

You say I should be the bigger one,

But your words cut deeper than the sun.

Respect’s a word you never knew,

Yet I kept believing in you.

I hate you so much, it’s tearing me apart,

You play the victim, but you broke my heart.

But you act just like the man who caused the pain.

I stood by you, but you never did the same.
