Gates of the Fallen

Dark skies gather, whispers in the wind

Fallen ashes, where my story begins

A soul scarred deep, no more pretend

But then a light breaks, a final mend

I've walked through flames, loved in vain

Raised my voice in bitter rain

Hearts shattered, friends lost in the night

Battles inside, never quite right

Despair’s hand on my shoulders, almost my end

But from the darkness, I had to defend

A dark angel’s whisper, giving me reason

To stand again, through the storm and the season

I am her, herald of the storm

Rising from ashes, reborn, reborn

Tearing down the gates, no more shame

Dark angel’s call, I bear her name

Rejoice not judge, while angels weep

In the shadows, our secrets keep

Come, you lonely, broken, weak

Reclaim your soul, find what you seek

Sins not forgotten, curses still near

Vices dance in shadows, crystal clear

But I have a purpose, a burning flame

In her name, I rise again

The gates will fall, the heavens cry

In the chaos, we will fly

Dark angel’s promise, fierce and true

Together we’re broken, but renewed
