Chains draped heavy, neck feelin' just like a wreck,

Snap backs and shutter shades, cameras flashin' on set,

Plastic smiles, but inside just a haunted net.

Graveyard of dreams, lost angels doin' crimes,

Black out the sun, cast shadows on the rhyme.

Script flipped, lights dimmed, stories untold,

Hard to break free from city’s grip, tenfold.

Money's the god, but it ain't what it seems,

Bright lights, long nights, visions obscene,

Paparazzi leeches suckin' dry, no blood left,

False idols rise, real ones get theft,

Studio promises, broken when you'd least expect,

Climbing up that ladder, cash as your only bet.

Silent screams in the night, fight or flight,

Dreams get mangled under the lack of light,

All see the glory, none see the plight,
