To Whomever Is Actually Listening,
I’m writing this straight from the pavement of Myrtle Beach, and it’s time to talk about the ugly side of paradise. This ain’t the sunny postcard they sell to the tourists. This is the real, raw struggle we live every single day.
(Chorus)
So when this place gonna change, I think this time that the people we elected into office open there eyes and get these leaders in check and investigate all of the actions And crimes they have put on so many just because they didn’t like them, I here are some Facts most people who have been sentenced have been giving sentences that the lawmakers decided to give not what the system calls for
Look around these streets. Homelessness is blowing up because the wages out here are a straight-up insult. The system puts people in a chokehold, keeping a foot heavy on our necks. It gets so desperate that good, honest people end up doing wild things they would’ve never even dreamed of doing just to survive. When the system traps you, it forces you to find other means to get by. Yet, so many solid folks choose to stay here and fight through all the low pay and dirty politics. But it makes you ask—what the hell do we do?
(Chorus)
So when this place gonna change, I think this time that the people we elected into office open there eyes and get these leaders in check and investigate all of the actions And crimes they have put on so many just because they didn’t like them, I here are some Facts most people who have been sentenced have been giving sentences that the lawmakers decided to give not what the system calls for
How are we supposed to find any peace or happiness in a setup that only breeds depression? Where are the people who make the laws? Where are the federal wage makers? When do the real working people get some damn justice? This city has run wild for way too long, with the higher-ups just making up the rules as they go. Mark my words, one day the feds are gonna slide in here, investigate this whole joint, and sweep out the corruption. They need to prosecute every single one of these vultures who got rich off the backs of the local workers—the true backbone of this city.
It makes me sick to my stomach. I loved this place so much when I was a kid, but seeing what it turned into is heartbreaking. Just look at the news. A man gets hit with 33 years for moving drugs, but a literal murderer gets off with only 10? The math ain't mathing. It proves the system just makes it up as they go, targeting whoever they want, rules be damned.
So to the corrupt suit-and-tie crowd running Myrtle Beach: here is a massive middle finger, and you know exactly where you can shove it ,Karma is a beast, and everybody’s tab comes due eventually. I’d hate to be in your shoes when it does. But until that day comes, we are gonna keep grinding. We’re gonna keep getting ours, enjoying our lives, and protecting our peace. You will never win.
